yogic shopping list

A yoga student of mine recently asked if I had any recommendations for meal ideas for a more ‘yogic’ diet.

To which I replied, hmm……well, there is plenty written about ‘yogic diet’ within classical yogic scripture and it’s commentary. As a general rule, foods that are ‘light’ and ‘pure’ and thus easy on the digestive system could be considered as yogic.

If you’re looking to expand your yogic meal repertoire it’s helpful to get your cupboards well stocked. Here are some ideas for a yogic shopping list:
