As my teacher Shiva Rea puts it, “when it comes to the collective rhythm –  making music, moving and chanting together – the worlds of science, art and spirituality are now in agreement: Bonding in these ways is a gift that can heal our bodies and lift our spirits. Experiencing Yoga, dance and music together re-attunes us to our core rhythms, freeing us from stress and fragmentation” which heals the collective heart.

hand in hand for syria

Hand in Hand for Syria is one of the very few agencies that can operate within Syria. They send life-saving medical & general aid to the most vulnerable people.

they Work alongside the UN for aid distribution and deliver 10,000 food boxes to people every month. They have also opened 6 hospitals plus support and supply over 100 medical facilities across Syria.

“Since meditation provides an effective, scientifically proven way to dissolve individual stress and given society is composed of individuals, it is common sense to use meditation to similarly diffuse societal stress.”  John Hagelin, Quantum Physicist

I’m really excited to be putting on this event with Jay, he has a magnetic presence and can create a really good vibe. Jay is young in age but old in soul. In terms of his offerings, he is yet to be pigeon-holed, but as soon as I met him I knew immediately that I had to work alongside him. As a devotee to the Shakti, Jay goes, heals and brings wonder to wherever his heart leads him.
