yoga philosophy has provided us with much insight into the human condition. Within scripture, there are vivid explanations of the human condition including our psychological and physiological essence which are described in terms of subtle energy.
these explanations fit within the principles of contemporary quantum physics and biology and there is plenty scientific research and medical evidence into the effectiveness of yoga for health.
in brief, wellbeing is the result of good circulation and a free flow of energy within our being. All disease and health problems can be attributed to dis-ease and dis-harmony within the energetic sphere, i.e. energy blockage or stagnation, whether temporary or more persistent. thus yoga therapy works from this straight forward premise and seeks to tackle the very source of the energy weakness.
