Throughout the year we offer a series of 4 dynamic and interactive 2hr yoga workshops to evolve your practice to the next level.
- Within a supported environment, spend time on poses that challenge you beyond your comfort zone. Develop your practice, learn tips and skills, ask questions and go deeper.
- Explore within a philosophical context, what the poses may mean in yoga and for you personally.
- You don’t need to be able to achieve all of the advanced poses to attend but just be willing to practice at your own level.
Workshop themes include:
‘Bend Over Backwards for Love’
Developing strength and flexibility of the spine. Uncovering anatomical, energetic and psychosomatic alignment for safe depth when backward bending.
Power from within; The Core
An emphasis on working the inner core stability of the body to truly strengthen from within. This will develop your practice because core strength is the secret foundation that will allow you to access many of the advanced poses. Become focused, grounded and centred
Meditation, breathing and relaxation for Yogi’s
Learn and practice techniques that help you find your centre, replenish your energies, develop greater harmony between body and mind as well as quiet the restless chatter of the mind.
New Perspectives; Inverted Poses
We will practice the headstand with variations. Also build your confidence and technique to find yourself in scorpion, handstands and peacock feather.
