Cultivate your instincts through flow state

Our teaching and learning ethos revolves around the positive psychology of flow state. 

This module is all about experiencing yoga for ourselves, the embodiment process and the practice. 

The emphasis is to awaken and connect to the instincts of the body.

We explore free form movement, choreography, somatic experiencing, breathwork along with all of the ancient tools and technniques within yoga.

You will practice, learn and learn to teach the 12 Real Flow Yoga Signature sequences.

Our Venue

The Meio Centre

Meio is an historical building that is beautifully renovated and has been in the same family for 6 generations.

It has had previous lives as a school and so maintains an inspirational atmosphere for learning and growth.

It is spacious  with multiple spaces to relax and enjoy the surrounding countryside. 

Nestled within its 4 acres of beautifully kept grounds is a swimming pool and 2 outdoor yoga spaces. The indoor dining room &  lounge are homely and cosy. 

Bedrooms

Comfortable and stylish

^{All of the 7 bedrooms are modern, airy and well ventilated. They are all very similar spacious twin rooms with comfortable beds and quality linen.}

^{All rooms have their own modern ensuite bathrooms.}  

The local vicinity

^{The venue is named after it's location. Meio translates as 'middle' from Portguese. This refers to its location being in the middle of Portugal, nestled within one of Portugal's National Forests.}

^{47 miles north of Lisbon. It's closest city is Santerem. Nearby tourist destinations include the historical town of Obidos famous for it's cherry liquor chocolate cups and Nazare an internationally renowned BIG surf beach.}

^{Alcanede, a quiet picturesque village has plenty of stillness and peace. The village amenities are modest. There is a fresh fruit & veg stall, a local cafe restaurant and a supermarket.}

^{Here we are surrounded by the natural beauty of rolling hills, rivers and ancient forestry.}   

^{Each morning we greet mother nature in our silent meditation walks.}

Chef & Meals

  ^{We are delighted to have a wonderful Portuguese chef as part of our team who is passionate about yoga as much as us. They will be lovingly preparing locally sourced vegetarian meals that are aligned with the yogic ethos. All wholefoods, organic, nutritious and vibrant meals with an emphasis on nourishing the soul as much as fuelling the body.}
