RED TENT PRINCIPLES
The Women’s Circle is intended to be a safe, supportive and inspiring space to connect deeply with oneself, other women and womenhood in general
For the Circle to work as intended, it’s important to upheld certain principles of respect.
Reliability: Please be punctual and arrive on time so that the schedule can flow. Also please try and commit to coming regularly.
Confidentiality: Whatever is shared amongst us, is not to be shared beyond the Circle
Kindness: Approach the Circle with an open mind & open heart. There may be differences in opinions at times, which is to be expected, but it’s a matter of treating each other with respect and compassion
Listen without replying: During the Sisterhood sharing, the intention is to allow each woman a chance to be heard and held without anyone else giving an answer, a solution or advice. It’s the art of listening in it’s purity.
Trust the Process:The Circle can evoke quite strong emotions at times, sometimes it can facilitate healing. However the Women’s Circle is not a therapy session so just be mindful in your expectations and how you show up for others as well as for yourself.
